Abstract
Disclosed are polyethylene polymers with good melt strength that can provide enhanced properties for compositions including such polyethylene polymers and films made therefrom.
Claims7
A composition comprising:
- (a) a first polyethylene polymer, having:
- (i) a density of 0.950 g/cm3 to about 0.960 g/cm3;
- (ii) an MI, I2.16, of about 0.15 to about 0.65;
- (iii) a melt strength of about 6.4 cN to about 11.6 cN;
- (iv) a melting point of about 130° C. to about 135° C.;
- (v) an MWD of about 4.1 to about 4.8;
- and (vi) an MIR, I21.6/I2.16, of about 45 to about 65, wherein the polyethylene polymer is an ethylene homopolymer;
- and
- (b) a second polyethylene having a melt strength lower than that of the first polyethylene polymer,
- wherein the second polyethylene is present in an amount of at least about 50 wt %, based on total weight of polymer in the composition.
