Abstract
Compounds are provided that can exhibit anti-cancer and/or anti-inflammatory properties, in some aspects, methods of treating an inflammatory disease or a hyperproliferative disease, such as cancer, with the compounds are provided.
Claims32
A pharmaceutical preparation comprising a compound having the structure:
- wherein X1 is —H or
- wherein X2 is —H or
- wherein X1 and X2 are not both —H;
- wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8, R9, and R10 are each independently —H, —OH, halogen, alkoxy(C1-6), alkylamino(C1-6), dialkylamino(C1-6), acyl(C1-7), alkyl(C1-6), —NH2, —NO2, —CO2H, —CO2-alkyl(C1-6), —CN, —SH, —C(O)NH2, —OC(O)CH3, or —S(O)2NH2;
- wherein R1-R10 are not all hydrogen;
- or a salt thereof;
- wherein the compound is comprised in the pharmaceutical preparation.
