Abstract
A process for preparing a container for a liquid, wherein the process includes applying a coating layer, which includes a polymeric coating and a monomeric resveratrol additive, to an inner layer of a container wall.

A process for preparing a container for a liquid, wherein the container includes a container wall with an inner surface and an outer surface, comprising
- applying a coating layer comprising a polymeric coating and an additive comprising monomeric resveratrol to the inner surface or an inner surface coating layer of the container wall.
A process for preparing an aluminum container for wine, wherein the container includes a container wall with an inner surface and an outer surface, comprising the steps of
- preparing a coating composition comprising a polymeric coating with from 0.001 to 10% by weight of a monomeric resveratrol added as an additive;
- applying said coating composition to the inner surface of the aluminum container to form an uncured coating;
- and
- curing the uncured coating onto the inner surface of the aluminum container.
