Claims24
A method of treating or relieving pain in a subject in need thereof comprising administering to the subject an effective amount of a pro-liposomal non aqueous pharmaceutical composition comprising:
- a local anesthetic or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof;
- a naturally occurring phospholipid;
- a non-aqueous pharmaceutically acceptable carrier;
- and
- a viscosity regulator,
- wherein said composition is in the form of a clear solution, devoid of particles above 100 nm in size, stable at ambient temperature, has a viscosity below 2500 cP and substantially devoid of water, and the ratio between the phospholipids and the non-aqueous carrier is 3:1 to 1:1.
A method of treating or relieving pain in a subject in need thereof comprising administering to the subject an effective amount of a pro-liposomal non aqueous pharmaceutical composition consisting essentially of:
- a local anesthetic or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof;
- a naturally occurring phospholipid;
- a non-aqueous pharmaceutically acceptable carrier;
- a viscosity regulator;
- and
- an anti-oxidant,
- wherein said composition is in the form of a clear solution, devoid of particles above 100 nm in size, stable at ambient temperature, has a viscosity below 2500 cP and substantially devoid of water, and the ratio between the phospholipids and the non-aqueous carrier is 3:1 to 1:1.
