Abstract
The present disclosure includes an electromagnetic field detection and monitoring system. The system includes passive detection, active detection, and signal processing capabilities. At least one embodiment includes a body worn system with sensing, processing, communications, and data storage capabilities. The system provides wearable antennas to transfer the EMF energy in its electrical or magnetic forms into the sensor efficiently. A specially designed processing algorithm can process the collected data and generated the results for medical professionals to read and make decisions.
Claims26
A system for detecting bioelectrical signal, the system comprising:
- a reference module having a first electrode to detect a reference electrical signal;
- a contact module having a second electrode to detect a contact electrical signal;
- an antenna module, the antenna module including (1) an antenna to detect a non-contact EMF signal, and (2) an antenna circuit module to perform wideband tuning and amplify the non-contact EMF signal;
- a receiver module, the receiver module including (1) an impedance matching module to match a source impedance of the antenna module, the reference module, and the contact module;
- and (2) a differential amplifier to amplify the difference between the reference signal and the non-contact EMF signal to produce a non-contact bioelectrical signal, and to amplify the difference between the reference signal and contact signal to produce a contact bioelectrical signal;
- and
- a signal processing module including a processor (1) to apply a filtering algorithm to increase the signal-to-noise ratio of the bioelectrical signals, including the non-contact and contact bioelectrical signals, and (2) to perform digital signal processing on the bioelectrical signals.
