Abstract
The present disclosure is directed to a paper towel product that will capably separate from the paper towel roll as a full sheet, a half sheet or a quarter sheet. A method of making a paper towel with machine direction perforations is also disclosed.
Claims13
A partitionable folded napkin product comprising:
- a base sheet having a basis weight of at least about 31 g/sq. meter;
- wherein the napkin product comprises at least one fold in the machine direction;
- and
- wherein the napkin product comprises at least one perforation line in the machine direction, MD;
- wherein a ratio of a CD tensile strength of the paper to the tensile strength of a MD perforation line is from about 30% to about 70%;
- and
- wherein at least one perforation line in the machine direction and the at least one fold in the machine direction are coextensive.
