A formulation for gel capsules comprising at least 61% by weight sterol ester and at least two solubilizers selected from the group consisting of polysorbates, lecithins, sodium stearoyl-2-lactylates, fatty acid esters of ascorbic acid, fatty acid esters of isoascorbic acid, and sugar esters with fatty acids.
