The invention generally relates to adenylyl cyclase inhibitor compounds and methods for treating neuropathic or inflammatory pain by using those compounds.

A method of inhibiting adenylyl cyclase in a patient, wherein the method comprising administering to the patient a pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound selected from the group consisting of:
