## Abstract

The present invention relates to isolated polypeptides having lysozyme activity and polynucleotides encoding the polypeptides. The invention also relates to nucleic acid constructs, vectors, and host cells comprising the polynucleotides as well as methods of producing and using the polypeptides.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A granule comprising a polypeptide having lysozyme activity, wherein the granule comprises a core particle comprising the polypeptide and a coating, and wherein the polypeptide has at least 90% sequence identity to the polypeptide sequence of amino acids 1 to 208 of SEQ ID NO: 8.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The granule of claim 1, wherein the polypeptide has at least 92% sequence identity to the polypeptide sequence of amino acids 1 to 208 of SEQ ID NO: 8.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The granule of claim 1, wherein the polypeptide has at least 95% sequence identity to the polypeptide sequence of amino acids 1 to 208 of SEQ ID NO: 8.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The granule of claim 1, wherein the polypeptide has at least 97% sequence identity to the polypeptide sequence of amino acids 1 to 208 of SEQ ID NO: 8.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The granule of claim 1, wherein the polypeptide is encoded by a polynucleotide that hybridizes under high stringency conditions with the mature polypeptide coding sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3 or SEQ ID NO: 7, or the full-length complement of thereof, and has at least 90% sequence identity to the polypeptide sequence of amino acids 1 to 208 of SEQ ID NO: 8.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The granule of claim 1, wherein the polypeptide is a variant of a polypeptide sequence of amino acids 1 to 208 of SEQ ID NO: 8, comprising a substitution, deletion, and/or insertion at one or more positions, and has at least 90% sequence identity to the polypeptide sequence of amino acids 1 to 208 of SEQ ID NO: 8.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The granule of claim 1, wherein the polypeptide is a fragment of the polypeptide sequence of amino acids 1 to 208 of SEQ ID NO: 8, which has lysozyme activity and has at least 90% sequence identity to a polypeptide sequence of amino acids 1 to 208 of SEQ ID NO: 8.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)
