Abstract
A backstacked paracord dispenser, comprising a body a lid and a backstacked length of paracord disposed therein. The body has a closed bottom and a first sidewall integrally connected to the bottom. The lid has a closed top with a through-hole disposed therethrough and a second sidewall integrally connected to the top. The second sidewall is sized to securely fit to the body. The length of paracord is disposed in the body and has one end extended through the through-hole. The paracord was backstacked into the body.
Claims21
A cord dispenser comprising:
- a body having an inner chamber, a closed bottom and a body sidewall connected to the bottom and extending upward from the bottom, the inner chamber containing a length of cord, the cord having first and second cord ends;
- a first through-hole through which the first cord end is extended and through which the cord is dispensed for use in any general purpose application;
- a chemical light retaining mechanism rigidly affixed to the body of the dispenser, the retaining mechanism including a first portion of a channel integrally formed into the body sidewall and extending longitudinally upward along the body sidewall, the first portion of channel sized to receive, removably secure and protect a chemical light from inadvertent activation during handling of the cord dispenser;
- and
- a second through-hole through which the second cord end is extended and operable to be securely attached to the chemical light;
- wherein the chemical light can be removed from the retaining mechanism and used with the attached cord to provide a Buzz-Saw signal.
A cord dispenser comprising:
- a body having an inner chamber, a closed bottom and a body sidewall connected to the bottom and extending upward from the bottom, the inner chamber containing a length of cord, the cord having a first cord end;
- a chemical light retaining mechanism rigidly affixed to the body of the dispenser, the retaining mechanism including a first portion of a channel integrally formed into the body sidewall and extending longitudinally upward along the body sidewall, the first portion of the channel sized to receive, removably secure and protect a chemical light from inadvertent activation during handling of the cord dispenser;
- and
- a first through-hole through which the first cord end is extended and operable to be securely attached to the chemical light;
- wherein the chemical light can be removed from the retaining mechanism and used with the attached cord to provide a Buzz-Saw signal.
A cord dispenser comprising:
- a body having an inner chamber, a closed top and a closed bottom, the inner chamber containing a length of cord, the cord having first and second cord ends;
- a first through-hole, disposed in the closed top, through which the first cord end is extended and through which the cord is dispensed for use in any general purpose application;
- a chemical light retaining mechanism rigidly affixed to the body of the dispenser, the retaining mechanism sized to removably secure and protect a chemical light from inadvertent activation during handling of the cord dispenser;
- and
- a second through-hole, disposed in the closed bottom, through which the second cord end is extended and operable to be securely attached to the chemical light;
- wherein the chemical light can be removed from the retaining mechanism and used with the attached cord to provide a Buzz-Saw signal.
A cord dispenser comprising:
- a body having an inner chamber containing a length of cord, the cord having first and second cord ends;
- a first through-hole through which the first cord end is extended and through which the cord is dispensed for use in any general purpose application;
- a chemical light retaining mechanism rigidly affixed to the body of the dispenser, the retaining mechanism sized to removably secure and protect a chemical light from inadvertent activation during handling of the cord dispenser;
- a second through-hole through which the second cord end is extended and operable to be securely attached to the chemical light, wherein the chemical light can be removed from the retaining mechanism and used with the attached cord to provide a Buzz-Saw signal;
- and
- a stop device fastened to the cord, the stop device being sized to prevent any further dispensing of cord through the first through-hole once the stop device is engaged with the first through-hole, the stop device being positioned on the cord to allow a length of cord to be dispensed through the second through-hole to provide a Buzz-Saw signal even when the stop device is engaged with the first through-hole.
A cord dispenser comprising:
- a body having an inner chamber containing a length of cord, the cord having first and second cord ends;
- a first through-hole through which the first cord end is extended and through which the cord is dispensed for use in any general purpose application;
- a chemical light retaining mechanism rigidly affixed to the body of the dispenser, the retaining mechanism sized to removably secure and protect a chemical light from inadvertent activation during handling of the cord dispenser;
- and
- a second through-hole through which the second cord end is extended and operable to be securely attached to the chemical light;
- wherein the chemical light can be removed from the retaining mechanism and used with the attached cord to provide a Buzz-Saw signal;
- and
- wherein the length of cord comprises:
- a first length of cord having the first end, the first length of cord extending through the first through-hole, the first length of cord having length to be used for general purpose applications, and
- a second length of cord having the second end, the second length of cord extending through the second through-hole, the second length of cord being operable to be securely attached to the chemical light and having length to provide a Buzz-Saw signal.
