## Abstract

A therapeutic compression garment, including: a body portion; and a spine portion, wherein the bands extending from either the body portion and/or spine portion attach the body and spine portions together when the body and spine portions are wrapped around a body limb, and wherein the spine portion is releasably attached onto the body portion such that the spine portion is positionable at different locations on the body portion.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A therapeutic compression garment, comprising:
a body portion having a plurality of bands extending from one side; and
a spine portion having a plurality of bands extending from one side opposite the bands of the body portion, the spine portion comprising a plurality of fastener tabs each separated by a spacing and positioned along a curved edge opposite the plurality of bands of the spine portion,
an intermediary portion positioned between the body portion and the spine portion, wherein the intermediary portion is removably attached to the body portion and the spine portion, wherein the body portion and the spine portion are connected together by way of the intermediary portion;
wherein the bands of the body and spine portion are flexible and operable to be wrapped around a limb and the spine and body portions are separate pieces;
wherein the bands extending from the body portion and the spine portion attach the body and spine portions together when the body and spine portions are wrapped around the limb,
wherein the intermediary portion is releasably attached onto the body portion by positioning a fastener tab of the intermediary portion on the body portion; and
wherein the spine portion is releasably attached onto the intermediary portion by positioning each fastener tab at different positions and independently angling each fastener tab at different orientations on the intermediary portion due to the spacing so that the body and spine portions are fastened together and adjusted to a contour of the limb.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The garment of claim 1, wherein the body and spine portions are attached together by hook and loop fasteners.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The garment of claim 2, wherein the body and spine portions are attached together using D-rings.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The garment of claim 1, wherein the bands extending from the body portion are juxtaposed between the bands extending from the spine portion when the body and spine portions are wrapped together around the body limb.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The garment of claim 1, wherein:
(a) a top of the spine portion is aligned with measurement indicia on a top of the body portion corresponding to a circumference measurement taken at a top location on the body limb, and
(b) a bottom of the spine portion is aligned with measurement indicia on a bottom of the body portion corresponding to a circumference measurement taken at a bottom location on the body limb.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The garment of claim 1, wherein the bands of the body and spine portions are extendible across the front of the body limb, and the spine portion is attachable to the body portion across the back of the body limb.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The garment of claim 1, wherein one or more fasteners on the bands extending from the body portion adhere to the spine portion with a lesser strength than the plurality of fastener tabs on the spine portion adhere to the body portion.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The garment of claim 1, wherein the body portion is marked with measurement indicia.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

The garment of claim 8, wherein the measurement indicia correspond to the circumference of the body limb.

### Claim 10 (depends on 8)

The garment of claim 8, wherein the spine portion is aligned with the measurement indicia.

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

The garment of claim 1, wherein the spine portion has a curved edge that separate the spine and intermediary portions, the curved edge of the spine portion being releasably attached onto the intermediary portion along the same side as the plurality of fastener tabs.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The garment of claim 11, wherein the curved edge of the spine portion is attached to the intermediary portion by hook and loop fasteners.

### Claim 13 (depends on 1)

The garment of claim 1, further comprising: directional seams in at least one of the body and spine portions to create alternating channels of high and low pressure running along the body limb.

### Claim 14 (depends on 1)

The garment of claim 1, wherein at least one of the body and spine portions have cut away portions for shortening the length of the garment along the body limb.

### Claim 15

A therapeutic compression garment, comprising:
(a) a body portion with a plurality of bands extending from one side; and
(b) a spine portion with a plurality of bands extending from one side, the spine portion comprising a plurality of fastener tabs spaced apart and disposed opposite the bands of the spine portion,
(c) an intermediary portion positioned between the body portion and the spine portion, wherein the intermediary portion is removably attached to the body portion and the spine portion, wherein the body portion and the spine portion are connected together by way of the intermediary portion;
wherein the bands of the body and spine portion are flexible and operable to be wrapped around a limb and the spine and body portions are separate pieces;
wherein the spine and body portions are attached together when the body and spine portions are wrapped around the limb,
wherein the intermediary portion is releasably attached onto the body portion by positioning a fastener tab of the intermediary portion on the body portion;
wherein the spine portion is releasably attached onto the intermediary portion by positioning each fastener tab at different positions and independently angling each fastener tab at different orientations on the intermediary portion, and
wherein the body and spine portions are fastened together such that the body and spine portions are fastened together and the garment can be adjusted to a contour of the limb.

### Claim 16 (depends on 15)

The garment of claim 15, wherein the body and spine portions are fastened together by bands of the body and spine portions positioned across one side of the limb and by the plurality of fastener tabs between the body and spine portions along an opposite side of the limb.

### Claim 17 (depends on 15)

The garment of claim 15, wherein positioning of the at least one fastener tab adjusts the garment to the contour of the body limb, wherein the spine portion has a plurality of curved edges along the same side as the plurality of fastener tabs that are attached onto the body portion.

### Claim 18 (depends on 15)

The garment of claim 15, wherein:
(a) a top of the spine portion is aligned with measurement indicia on a top of the body portion corresponding to a circumference measurement taken at a top location on the body limb, and
(b) a bottom of the spine portion is aligned with measurement indicia on a bottom of the body portion corresponding to a circumference measurement taken at a bottom location on the body limb.
