Abstract
A method and system for phase correction in a receiver receives a plurality of samples and filters the samples using a polyphase FIR filter. The samples are simultaneously shifted, centered and channelized using a MUX/negate process and a fast Fourier transform (FFT).
Claims6
A method for digital channelization in a receiver, comprising:
- receiving a plurality of samples associated with a plurality of channels;
- shifting the samples into a polyphase finite impulse response (FIR) filter at a non-linear rate, generating non-linear phase offsets associated with each channel:
- and
- simultaneously shifting, centering and channelizing the samples using a MUX/negate process and a fast Fourier transform (FFT) to correct for the non-linear phase offsets across all of the plurality of channels for each sample.

A receiver system comprising:
- a receiver for receiving a plurality of samples associated with a plurality of channels;
- a polyphaser finite impulse response (FIR) filter the samples being shifted into the polyphase filter at a nonlinear rate and generating non-linear phase offsets associated with each channel:
- and
- a processor for simultaneously shifting, centering and channelizing the samples using a MUX/negate process and a fast Fourier transform (FFT) to correct for the non-linear phase offsets across all of the plurality of channels for each sample.
