Non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery

A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprising:

• a power generating element formed by stacking a plurality of battery layers, each battery layer including a positive electrode obtained by forming a positive electrode active material layer containing lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt composite oxide on a surface of a current collector, an electrolyte layer, and a negative electrode, wherein a length of a shortest side of the secondary battery is 100 mm or more, and at least one of the following conditions (1) to (4) is satisfied:
• (1) a value obtained by dividing a direct current resistance [Ω] of the battery by a heat resistance [(m·K)/W] in a plane direction of the battery is 0.055 or more;
• (2) a value obtained by dividing a direct current resistance [Ω] of the battery by a heat capacity [J/K] of the battery is 3.080×10−6 or more;
• (3) a value obtained by dividing a battery capacity [Ah] by a heat resistance [(m·K)/W] in a plane direction of the battery is 880 or more;
• and
• (4) a value obtained by dividing a battery capacity [Ah] by a heat capacity [J/K] of the battery is 0.05000 or more.
