A compound for an organic photoelectric device represented by the following Chemical Formula 1A or 1B:
- wherein, in Chemical Formulae 1A and 1B,
- each of R1 to R3 are independently one of hydrogen and a monovalent organic group,
- a is an integer of 0 to 4, and
- X is represented by Chemical Formula 2:
- wherein, in Chemical Formula 2,
- R4 is one of hydrogen and a monovalent organic group, and
- R5 and R6 form a heteroatom-containing ring having electron withdrawing properties.
