Abstract

An information processing apparatus generates drawing data by using printing data and print setting information. The information processing apparatus includes a conversion unit that converts the print setting information into apparatus setting information; a plurality of drawing data generating units that generates the drawing data based on the printing data and the apparatus setting information; and a generating unit controller that analyzes the apparatus setting information to select one of the drawing data generating units and controls the selected drawing data generating unit in a control procedure corresponding to the selected drawing data generating unit.

Dependent claims

An information processing apparatus for generating drawing data by using printing data and print setting information, the information processing apparatus comprising:

a processor;
a plurality of raster image processors configured to generate the drawing data based on the printing data and apparatus setting information;
and
a memory that includes instructions, which when executed, cause the processor to execute the following steps:
converting the print setting information into the apparatus setting information;
and
analyzing the apparatus setting information to select one of the raster image processors and controlling the selected raster image processor in a control procedure corresponding to the selected raster image processor.
