Abstract
The present disclosure encompasses NGF binding proteins, specifically to antibodies that are chimeric, CDR grafted and canonized antibodies, and methods of making and uses thereof. The antibodies, or antibody portions, of the disclosure are useful for detecting NGF and for inhibiting NGF activity, e.g., in a mammal subject suffering from a disorder in which NGF activity is detrimental.
Claims4
An isolated anti-NGF antibody that specifically binds to Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) and inhibits the binding of NGF to the TrkA receptor comprising:
- a) a variable heavy chain (VH) region comprising:
- i) CDR1 comprising SEQ ID NO. 61,
- ii) CDR2 comprising SEQ ID NO. 62;
- and
- iii) CDR3 comprising SEQ ID NO. 63;
- and
- b) a variable light chain (VL) region comprising:
- i) CDR1 comprising SEQ ID NO. 64,
- ii) CDR2 comprising SEQ ID NO. 65;
- and
- iii) CDR3 comprising SEQ ID NO. 66;
- and
- wherein the antibody is a chimeric antibody.
