Abstract
A suspension system having a piston platform that supports an air spring. The piston platform may be pivotally mounted to an upper control arm. The upper control arm may be pivotally mounted to a subframe. The piston platform may rotate with respect to the upper control arm when the upper control arm rotates with respect to the subframe.

A suspension system comprising:
- a subframe;
- an upper control arm that is pivotally mounted to the subframe;
- a piston platform that is pivotally mounted to the upper control arm;
- an air spring that is disposed on the piston platform;
- a kingpin that is pivotally mounted to the upper control arm;
- and
- a steering knuckle that is rotatably mounted to the kingpin.
