Abstract
The present invention provides, among other things, methods and compositions for diagnosing and/or treating cancer by targeting CCR8. In particular, the present invention provides technologies for depleting Treg cells, and particularly tumor-infiltrating Treg cells.

A method of treating cancer by administering to a cancer patient who has a tumor in which CCR8 on tumor-infiltrating Treg cells is overexpressed relative to its level on circulating blood Treg cells, an antibody agent comprising CDRs of an antibody that binds specifically to CCR8 so that the antibody agent binds specifically to CCR8 and tumor-infiltrating Treg cells are specifically depleted in the subject, to a greater extent than are normal-tissue infiltrating T-cells.
