Abstract
The present invention provides a process for thermal crosslinking of polymers of intrinsic microporosity (PIMs) by heat treatment of PIMs under controlled oxygen concentration.

A process for thermal crosslinking of polymers of intrinsic microporosity (PIMs) by heat treatment of PIMs at a temperature of 350 to 450° C. under a controlled oxygen concentration of 10 to 200 ppm.
