Abstract
The present invention relates to a radiation generating tube. The radiation generating tube includes an envelope including an insulating tubular member having at least two openings, a cathode connected to one of the openings of the insulating tubular member, and an anode connected to the other of the openings of the insulating tubular member. At least one of the cathode and the anode and the insulating tubular member are bonded at a bonded portion with an electrically conductive bonding member; and the bonded portion bonded with the electrically conductive bonding member is coated with a dielectric layer.
Claims16
A radiation generating apparatus comprising:
- a radiation generating tube including:
- an envelope including an insulating tube having a pair of tube ends, a cathode connected to one of the pair of tube ends, and an anode connected to the other of the pair of tube end;
- an electron emitting source connected to the cathode;
- a target connected to the anode;
- and
- a conductive bonding member bonded between the insulating tube and at least any one of the cathode and the anode;
- a conductive container grounded and accommodating the radiation generating tube;
- insulating liquid filled in a rest space between the conductive container and the radiation generating tube;
- and
- a dielectric member located outside of the insulating tube in the conductive container,
- wherein the dielectric member and the insulating liquid are located between the conductive bonding member and the conductive container.
A radiography system comprising:
- a radiation generating apparatus comprising:
- a radiation generating tube including:
- an envelope including an insulating tube having a pair of tube ends, a cathode connected to one of the pair of tube ends, and an anode connected to the other of the pair of tube end;
- an electron emitting source connected to the cathode;
- a target connected to the anode;
- and
- a conductive bonding member bonded between the insulating tube and at least any one of the cathode and the anode;
- a conductive container grounded and accommodating the radiation generating tube;
- insulating liquid filled in a rest space between the conductive container and the radiation generating tube;
- and
- a dielectric member located outside of the insulating tube in the conductive container,
- wherein the dielectric member and the insulating liquid are located between the conductive bonding member and the conductive container;
- and
- a radiation detector that detects radiation that is radiated from the radiation generating apparatus and is transmitted through a subject.
A radiation generating apparatus comprising:
- a radiation generating tube including:
- an envelope including an insulating tube having a pair of tube ends, a cathode connected to one of the pair of tube ends, and an anode connected to the other of the pair of tube end;
- an electron emitting source connected to the cathode;
- a target connected to the anode;
- and
- a conductive bonding member bonded between the insulating tube and at least any one of the cathode and the anode configured to form a proximal electrical end which is the closest end in the conductive bonding member in a distance to the other of the cathode and the anode;
- a conductive container grounded and accommodating the radiation generating tube;
- insulating liquid filled in a rest space between the conductive container and the radiation generating tube;
- and
- a dielectric member located outside of the insulating tube in the conductive container,
- wherein the dielectric member is arranged between the proximal electrical end of the conductive bonding member and the conductive container so as to reduce a risk of a discharge occurring from the proximal electrical end.
