The application further relates to detection methods, vaccine therapeutics, and diagnostic methods using the PMC virus or gene/protein sequences derived therefrom.
Claims15
An isolated nucleic acid comprising:
- a) an RNA or DNA nucleotide sequence having at least 70% nucleotide sequence identity with SEQ ID NO:
- 8 and a heterologous polynucleotide sequence;
- wherein when the isolated RNA or DNA nucleotide sequence is an RNA nucleotide sequence, thymidine (t) nucleotides are substituted with uridine (u) nucleotides;
- or
- b) a complementary nucleotide sequence comprising both the complement of the RNA or DNA nucleotide sequence and the heterologous polynucleotide sequence of (a).
A recombinant expression vector comprising a DNA nucleotide sequence that is 90% or more homologous to SEQ ID NO:
- 8, operably linked to prokaryotic or eukaryotic transcription and translation control elements.
A live virus vector comprising an isolated RNA or DNA nucleotide sequence that is 90% or more homologous to SEQ ID NO:
- 8 and a heterologous polynucleotide sequence.
